044

The cupboard where you keep all your cleaning supplies is the dirtiest.

It's also easier to kick you when you're down [physics]
so,
Stand up! & Man up!
Lady..
Be a dandy
Like Marchesa [Luisa] Casati
Who painted all her black slaves gold
that's BOLD
Like the ink on her eyes .. [blood > ink]
A dress made of lazy lace,
Wrapped all around her face,
And down her waist,
Down to the leg,
On two of which she kneeled to beg..
""I want to be a living work of art""
We are a generation of dreamers
No one out there, well, at least not most people these days [uh, generalizations]
Are striving to be sensible
In the sense that they feel they have no choice...
but to make some kind of stable life for themselves
Because there is a shift in values
There are almost none
Values
none at all
Relationships are fast and don't really
matter
well, they do, but..
in a certain kind of second, they don't
""I want to be a living work of art""
people are too fickle
quick to jump and to give up
no one ever said it was easy
but they didn't tell you how hard it might be
or maybe our values have just changed
the things we want take over [the world]
ambition is our best friend, and enemy
And so, do we go along chasing our dreams?
""I want to be a living work of art""
A generation of safe savers behind us
A generation of dreamers we are,
When will we wake up?
Or, should we?

[no!]

""I want to be a living work of art""

there is
no innovation in routine,
no genius in comfort,
no logic in passion,
no wisdom in safety,
no stories in smartness,
no fun in frugal

live! live! live!

a LOT

pretend you are the best and
you actually might be
and fool enough people
to agree

and if you're not, don't worry
there was probably always room for improvement anyway ...

""I want to be a living work of art""

did you learn to write?
no, i learned to read and listen..
did you learn to paint?
no, I learned to see and play..
did you learn to dress?
no, i learned to trust the weatherman..
did you learn to love?

" "i wish i lived in the golden age, giving up on the Broadway stage -
hang with the rats and smoke cigars,
have a break with -- and count the stars
dressed to the night[nines] / we've [always] had too much
shiny jewels, ca-sin-o cash, tapping feet, wanna take the lead?
A trip back in time is all I need.." "

IT'S COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL TO KNOW NOTHIN'!
